(Instruction on how to defend against sexual assault exposes the heart of liberalism)
By Jackie Anderson Christensen
What the heart feels, the mouth will eventually deliver. And in this case the debate on gun rights and self-defense brings to the forefront the left’s true esteem for women. One leftist misfit after another asks American women to go easy on potential assailants. That is, if you are even capable of knowing you’re in danger of being assaulted. Heck, the left isn’t sure if some types of sexual assault even exist.
Recent news stories signal that for many high profile liberals the safety of the perpetrator is of greater concern. Not because the assailant has so much inherent value but that a particular ‘type’ of victim has less. I’ll explain. Democratic Rep Joe Salazar recommends limited gun rights because women may “feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be”. Joe Biden indicates all you need is an erroneous shot in the dark with a weapon that’s not too difficult to be used by the typical female. Fox News Channel ‘The Five’ host, Bob Beckel, explains that no one has even heard of date rape. University of Colorado – Colorado Springs proposes that women tell their attacker they are menstruating, have a disease, or should spontaneously urinate or vomit. Surely there’s a liberal somewhere that would suggest you ask the attacker to pull your finger.
What has happened in America that would cause such a devaluation of women that the well- being of an attacker is even considered? It’s simple: feminism, and its design to infect every segment of society. True to the nature of infections – the vigorous growth of the lie called feminist liberalism has caused illness in our families, communities and nation. It has been a degrading demotion for women in the ranks of society, and has set women apart in an ambiguous way.
The 2012 presidential campaign was truly the glorification of ‘woman power’. The major issues facing our country (crushing debt, depressing jobless numbers, the real cost of Obamacare, etc.) would not come close to the ‘rights’ of feminists. No; not the right to self-determination. Not the right to God-given liberty. Not the constitutional right to bear arms. It is a perceived right to have issues relating to sex subsidized. Making sex and the vagina the major political issue expressly tells the nation that females are nothing more than their issue. It’s no wonder officials and liberal pundits can’t imagine how a little forced sex could really be such a problem.
Sexual inference in trade for political favor is nothing new. John the Baptist lost his head to a mother/daughter team who lobbied Herod and his court using sexuality and self-serving deceit for an atrocious indulgence. Never in history would either woman be known for their political power play but for their contemptible barter.
Fast forward to the age of ‘progress’: mother figure Nancy Pelosi and her younger sacrifice for political power, Sandra Fluke, contrived a scheme to be played in front of congress – today’s court of lords and high captains. A heart wrenching drama of the suffering women would endure if birth control were not provided to them, financed by someone else. The sad chorus continued with Code Pink’s preposterous and grotesque handmade vaginas hanging from their neck, and the DNC’s parade of angry feminists all uniformly expressing the importance of their single issue. The clarity of their agenda cannot be argued. Consistently the theme with feminist liberalism is related to sex. For decades feminists have howled that women will do with their bodies exactly what they want. Thirty three hundred abortions every day is the evidence that indeed… they have.
The half-century long rebellion for women’s sexual freedom has saturated the American psyche and the response from the left is that there is no serious crime in using the vagina for the purpose that the feminists went to war for.
But there is hope for our declining nation, and that is the conservatism of our founding fathers. Freedom endowed only by the Creator and consequences owned only by the citizen. Samuel Adams, the father of the American Revolution understood the source by which true liberty reigns;
“We have this day restored the Sovereign to Whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in
Heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come”.
