IS IT TIME FOR A “BUYCOTT”?
I am generally NOT in favor of boycotts because they oftentimes wind up hurting the wrong people. However, I am all for supporting those businesses FIRST that espouse my values and contribute to causes that further wholesome virtues and sound principles.
Therefore, this Christmas (and forevermore), I will make an effort to seek out such businesses FIRST!
Our economy is about to become much worse. Those individuals and businesses that supported the socialist principles most responsible for our dismal economic fortunes, by all rights, should be willing to accept the inevitable consequences of their own actions; thus, I’m sure they will all agree with me.
Therefore, instead of a “boycott” (which is punitive in nature), I will be going on a permanent “buycott” (which is not). I will endeavor to support those businesses FIRST that understand, celebrate, and demonstrate pro-Americanism, free market principles, and all that is good and right about America.
I strongly encourage others to do the same. Some businesses will survive the next four years–some won’t. I believe it to be the strongest show of patriotism and Americanism to ensure the survival of those businesses that did not vote for their own demise.

Great idea! Do you have a list of business that did not support socialist principles?
There waws one online last year and I surely hope that this year the same is done. One business I won’t buy at is Home Depot! $14,000,000 to Obama! And the strongly support perversion!
Hi Renee: FIRST…full disclosure: This idea germinated between my remaining few (good) brain cells just this evening. Therefore, many of the details have yet to be worked out. What I initially envisioned was that I would go on a personal BUYCOTT of businesses known to me to espouse conservative principles FIRST! However, as I gave it more thought, I concluded that I’d like to see a more broad-based, organized effort to identify such businesses all across the country so that conservatives could conduct the majority of their business with companies that espouse their values. I think we owe it to liberals to allow their (liberal-leaning) businesses to get exactly what they voted for! (continued…)
Ok…here is what would help: I’d like to begin compiling a list of companies beginning with companies that are struggling in this economy and have not compromised their principles to stay afloat. I have a feeling that such a list will be huge, so maybe I need to limit the project there for the time being. Some other ideas include having each “supporter” of this cause “adopt” a company (preferably in his or her own area) to promote. Like I said…this is all new, but I intend to do some brainstorming over the next little bit. If I can get those neurons on the left side of my brain to start getting along with those on the right–who knows–a truly cogent thought or two might emerge! More later. YES! I am starting by switching back from Costco to SAMS! Walmart and SAMs donate to conservative causes and obviously are not afraid of the mafia type unions! After shopping, swing by Chick-Fil-A for lunch!
As painful as it will be, I am making plans to move my email from GMail and Yahoo as soon as I can manage to do so. Maintaining all of my contacts and other info is a concern. Right now, I have my sights set on the “Reagan.com” email service. My new motto: “Buy Conservative FIRST”
