“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”- John 1:1-4

The fact is that the BIBLE says all life comes from God.

If a woman gets pregnant in the process of being raped, the act of being rape is a tragedy. It is disgusting. However, the fact a child is conceived within this context does not mean that life did not come from God.

God’s sovereign will is never logical to our emotions. Dr. James Dobson wrote a book: “God Doesn’t Make Sense”. It is outstanding.

Liberals keep trying to limit God to human logic and emotions. It is impossible.

I will NEVER say that a child is rightfully murdered in the womb, if it was conceived via rape (or incest). If I were to embrace that theory, I would have to say the Bible is a lie.

Not one conservative believes that it is God’s will that a woman was raped. No conservative has ever said that.

What we have said is that we don’t believe we should address the tragedy and trauma of a rape by committing murder against the unborn child who committed no crime whatsoever.

Thus says the Lord:

“Thou shalt not murder”- Exodus 20:13

God will hold the rapist accountable for the rape of a woman. However, God will also hold the woman accountable for murdering a life that he grants, out of an act of revenge against the rapist.

“ Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”- Romans 12:19

Fellow Americans, trust in God is not always easy. It is not even always logical. However, it is always wise.

It is always worth it.
